Hazardous Materials Training - First Responder




Meets the requirements of NFPA 472, Standard on Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials Incidents, 2013 edition. This course reviews the skills already learned in the technician level, and provides training in the mitigation of hazardous materials incidents using specialized skills and equipment. Hazardous Materials technicians are capable of responding in an offensive fashion to incidents to protect people, property and the environment


Note: This is a very physically demanding course, which requires you to be in good physical condition.

  - Use of Chlorine kits for 150lb cylinders, 1-ton cylinders, and rail cars
